I’m Going to Miss You.

I read that letter of yours with tears in my eyes.

I thought about all our memories, and about time flies.

I thought about how we'd talk after football, rant during our daily walk. Or even,

Cry about United's horrible tactics for that's how our friendship was woven.

I'll never forget wrestling at the beach resort,

Or how quickly your words could heal a broken heart.

I'll never forget how close we grew thanks to Rollo and Custard.

For we were as close, as Pizza was, with a dip of mustard.

Through thick and thin, you were always there.

With you, my problems and troubles I could always share.

With you there was never a doubt how things between us would fare,

Because I knew I loved you, and you'd always care.

Looking back at those times, I can't believe it's been eight years.

To me you were family, more than just a peer.

You instilled in me, with your wisdom a sense of having no fear,

It was you, who made United to me, so very dear.

Whether it was our long, fun walks that I looked forward to,

Or our link up play and the multiple goals we scored, me and you. Or,

The way we trashed on the oily Manchester City. Or

The times we watched, and reacted to scenes of Tipungwuti's footy.

I'll remember every single memory as if it were yesterday.

And I really want to stop you from leaving and going away.

Of all the people I know, you're one of the very few,

To whom I can look in the eye, hug, and say, I love you.
