Seoul - Trip Report Summary

Seoul. A lot can be said about this city. Whether it’s the technological advancements or the extremely efficient management in terms of cleanliness and numerous other factors, in all aspects that you can review a country, Seoul surpassed my expectations in all the parameters that I’d set for reviewing it. After the duration of my stay, I never wanted to leave. I had fallen in love with the Korean tradition, Korean customs and their way of life. I was mesmerized by the beauty of Seoul. It was absolutely marvelous. The people of the country are really well behaved, respectful and are the most helpful people I’ve ever come across.

Korean food is super delicious, and Seoul has a wide range of restaurants, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. The internet and data service in Seoul without a doubt is the fastest in the world and superbly efficient. The public transport service in Seoul also deserves a huge shout-out for its connectivity, regularity and speed. There is also a lot to see and do in the city, so I recommend that you stay for at least a week or so. Based on the above regards, I rate the country 9.5 out of 10. (The 0.5 has been reduced because many Koreans aren’t well versed in English. I know that isn’t exactly a valid reason but even with Google Translate, people may find communication difficult. I didn’t find it hard to talk to them when I was in Korea but talking to the hotel staff from India was one of the most dreadful tasks.)

Thus, I conclude by stating that Seoul is a must-visit place. You will be amazed by how the place exceeds your expectations. I strongly urge you all to visit South Korea and become spellbound by its magnificent nature, the extremely hospitable people, the amazing infrastructure and the millions of other things that this wonderful city has to offer.
